& The Inspector Harry Hole Series
Jo Nesbø (born March 29, 1960) is a Glass Key award winning Norwegian author and musician. As of 2014 more than 3 million copies of his novels have been sold in Norway, and his work has been translated into over 40 languages, selling 23 million copies. Nesbø is primarily known for his crime novels about Inspector Harry Hole, but he is also the main vocalist and songwriter for the Norwegian rock band Di Derre. In 2007 Nesbø also released his first children's book, Doctor Proctor's Fart Powder.
Favorite book in the series would have to be The Devil's Star.
Nesbo plans to write a "crime noir" version of Macbeth due out in 2016. Check out the Guardian for more details.

& The Lincoln Rhyme Series
A former journalist, folksinger and attorney, Jeffery Deaver is the author of thirty-two novels, three collections of short stories and a nonfiction law book; he’s received or been shortlisted for a number of awards around the world. His book A Maiden’s Grave was made into an HBO movie starring James Garner and Marlee Matlin, and his novel The Bone Collector was a feature release from Universal Pictures, starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.
Favorite book in the series would have to be The Coffin Dancer.
Deaver also wrote the newest James Bond novel, Carte Blanche.

Daniel Levine studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Brown University and received his MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Florida. He has taught composition and creative writing at high schools and universities, including the University of Florida, Montclair State University, and Metropolitan State College of Denver. Originally from New Jersey, he now lives in Colorado.
